Colour - Full, amber, very bright. Nose - Lightish, peaty, burnt heather with a characteristic tang of ozone/iodine and even a whiff of chocolate. Flavour - Smooth, refined flavour with a pronounced smoky peatiness. Finish - Good, long and dry.

Colour - Straw with golden highlights. Nose - Distinctive, quite light and flowery. Flavour - Smoother, softer and less pungent than other Islays. Finish - Smooth, round, lovely and long.

Colour - Amber with pale gold highlights. Nose - Clean with quite good body, medium-dry, smokily peaty, slightly creamy with a light green touch. Flavour - Quite full-bodied, round with a hint of spice, smoky and creamy. Finish - Quite long, clean and fresh.

Colour - Straw/amber with pale gold highlights. Nose - Fresh, clean and softly malty with a delicately fresh peatiness, medium-sweet and fresh with fruity notes of apples & peaches. Flavour - Quite full-bodied, smooth & fruity with a firm smoky peat character, obvious apples and a touch of cocoa & vanilla. Finish - Long, fresh, rich, smooth and quite creamy, cocoa & apples.

Colour - Pale amber with lemon highlights. Nose - Medium-bodied and medium-sweet with firm peat and soft rich lanolin, a touch mashy and an unctuous oakiness. Flavour - Medium-sweet, soft oak, rich, creamy and smooth. Finish - Rich and smooth with a slight toffee touch.

Colour - Straw with a define greenness to its edge. Nose - Leafy, floral, slightly malty, very fragrant. Flavour - Sherry cask on palate with typical honeyed shortbread-sweet flavour. Finish - Good length.

Colour - Quite deep amber with bronze highlights. Nose - Quite full-bodied, medium-sweet with a dark, soft nuttiness, a good, peaty character with a lightly honeyed, almost Christmas cake richness and a gentle peaty fruitiness. Flavour - Big-bodied, smooth, round, soft, rich and medium-sweet, slightly toffeeyed and gently peated. Finish - Rich with a touch of spice, a light, elegant smoky touch to the tail and surprisingly dry.

Colour - Good light gold/pale straw. Nose - Fresh, medium-bodied, steely with floral notes and a touch of peat. Flavour - Light, fresh, slightly smoky with an oily creaminess. Finish - Sweet with good length.

Colour - Mid-amber with gold highlights. Nose - Medium-sweet, medium-bodied, rich and heather honeyed with an almond nuttinessand notes of apple, peach and a little citrus. Flavour - Quite big -bodied, medium-sweet, honey, a quite delicate peatiness with a slightly green edge and a nutty chewiness. Finish - Long, rich and nutty.

Colour - Amber with old gold highlights. Nose - Big-bodied, rich, fresh, sweet and sherried with notes of honey and apple and darkly peaty. Flavour - Quite full-bodied, sherried and medium-sweet with a honeyed character, gently chewy with quite a delicate peatiness, darkly smoky and quite elegant. Finish - Long, elegant, richly smoky, sherried and toffeeyed.
